so, i finally took the plunge. to celebrate Ubuntu Hardy (8.04) going stable, i upgraded my desktop.

Granted, since everyone was getting it at the same time, it was terribly slow to download packages.
I have been running Hardy on my eeePC for a while (oh yeah; got an eeePC. black 8gb model, 702. w/16gb sdhc card, need to encrypt that and move my /home/ and /root/ to it)
